View As
The View As feature lets super admins temporarily see the portal from the perspective of a specific platform admin or account admin. It's useful when investigating a support ticket ("what does the customer actually see?") or verifying that a role's access is configured correctly.
View As is a super-admin-only feature. Platform admins and account admins cannot start a View As session.
Starting a View As session
Look for the eye icon (👁) in the row actions column:
- View as platform admin — from the Platforms table, click the eye icon on the platform you want to impersonate.
- View as account admin — from the Accounts table, click the eye icon on the account you want to impersonate.
Once started, a colored banner pins to the top of every page showing the active session (e.g. Viewing as Account Admin — Acme Inc.). The sidebar and all pages render as they would for that role.
Ending a View As session
Click Exit on the banner to return to your normal super-admin view.
Actions you take while in View As mode are logged with your real super-admin identity, not the impersonated one, so there's a clear audit trail.
