Account Administration

As an account administrator, you can manage the day-to-day operations of your DialStack account. This section covers:

Directory

  • Users — Create and manage users and their SIP endpoints
  • Devices — Manage DECT base stations and handsets

Telephony

  • Phone Numbers — View numbers, order new ones, and port existing numbers
    • Port Orders — Transfer phone numbers from other carriers
  • Dial Plans — Design call-routing trees that decide where inbound calls go (menus, hours, forwarding)
  • Queues — Hold callers until an available user agent answers
  • Ring Groups — Ring several users at once or in sequence under a single destination
  • Shared Voicemails — Team mailboxes that multiple users can monitor and manage
  • Voicemail Greetings — Record or upload custom greetings for user and shared voicemail boxes
  • Voicemail Phone Access — Star codes and keypad reference for checking voicemail from any phone
  • Schedules — Define business hours and holidays that dial plans can branch on
  • Voice Apps — Higher-level call experiences (queues, IVRs, announcements) that dial plans can hand off to

Analytics

  • Call Logs — Searchable history of every inbound and outbound call on the account
  • Quality — Monitor call quality metrics (MOS, jitter, packet loss) across the account
